VIRTUAL PALM BEACHES MARATHON

When: Run your favorite distance, from a 5K to a marathon, anywhere, anytime between December 5 and December 20, 2020.
Races: Run a fun, fast 5K or 10K in your neighborhood, push the limits with a half marathon on the paths of your favorite park, or challenge yourself to a self-supported marathon along a scenic trail. Upload your result by December 20.
Swag: All registered runners will receive a race tech shirt, custom finisher medal, virtual race bib and finisher certificate. A live packet pick up event will be offered for local runners in a central Palm Beach County location, TBA.
Extra: Additional virtual race perks include online panel discussions with experts in running related fields, photo contests, virtual race kit and live race tracking!

The Virtual Palm Beaches Marathon offers a distance for everyone!
5K – classic race distance and a great choice for beginner runners or walkers.
10K – push past your comfort zone and use the 10K distance to test your speed and endurance.
HALF MARATHON – the preferred distance for many experienced long distance runners.
MARATHON – the ultimate goal for many runners.
What is a virtual run?
A virtual run offers you an opportunity to participate in a race experience in your own community. You will run at your own favorite place and time yourself.
What amenities are offered for participants?
All participants regardless of the selected distance will receive a finisher medal, race tech shirt, virtual bib number, finisher certificate. You will be invited to attend an in-person packet pickup in early December in a central Palm Beach County location, or choose to have their packet mailed after the event.
Is there a suggested course for the virtual run?
No. We do not have a designated course for the 2020 Virtual Palm Baches Marathon. We encourage you to explore course routes in your own community, to follow local, state and federal guidelines and follow safe pedestrian practices when on streets and roadways.
When will the Virtual Palm Beaches Marathon take place?
Runners can participate in their selected distance any time from Friday, December 4 to Sunday, Sunday December 20.
When can I submit my results?
You can submit your results starting on Friday, December 4. The deadline to submit results for all distances is Sunday, December 2020 at 11:59PM EST.
How do I submit my results for the Virtual Experience?
You will submit your results for through your RunSignUp account. A link will be provided on December 1, 2020.
Can I break up the mileage throughout the week and submit my total time based on each run?
No. All distances must be completed in one continuous run.
Can I walk the virtual event?
